Colonie pedestrian-train accident under investigation

COLONIE -- Police are investigating a pedestrian train accident at the Elm Street railroad crossing.

One man who was hit by an oil train was taken to a hospital with a broken back and trauma, officials said. A second man was detained at the scene.

Traffic is being detoured in the area, just off Route 32 south of the Watervliet line.
