BETHLEHEM — Two locomotives derailed Wednesday night after sideswiping one another in CSX Transportation's Selkirk yard, CSX spokesman Rob Doolittle said.
About 6 p.m., two trains moving at a low speed grazed each other, causing one to turn on its side, Doolittle said,
No injuries were reported.
"CSX is assessing whether there is any environmental impact; if there is any impact, it will be addressed immediately," he said.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
The accident had no impact on other rail operations, Doolittle sad.
