Albany has found itself in the path of a U.S. oil boom that began on New Year’s Eve 2009 when the first crude train rolled out of the Bakken fields of North Dakota some 1,800 miles away. / Times Union

According to the City University of New York and the Center for American Progress we can create twice as many jobs from renewable sources as from fossil fuels.
