Oil on the rails explored in new exhibit

An opening reception for Han Dogan’s new series of artwork, “Burning the Midnight Oil,” which explores the nation’s growing oil industry and the railroads that are transporting crude to Albany, will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Patsy’s Barber Shop, 3 Howard St., in downtown Albany.

A post-reception event will be held at the City Beer Hall, 42 Howard St., downtown. The events are part of the city’s 1st Friday activities.
