Thursday, the Department of Environmental Conservation will issue its approval to Global Partners to heat Tar Sands Crude at its facility in Albany. This is wrong for the environment, wrong for the health of the people of Albany, and wrong on the law. Join us to protest this gross miscarriage of DEC's mandate. Global climate change threatens our very way of life. We must stop building more fossil fuel infrastructure and move immediately to safe, sane energy production. Join us and environmental and public health groups. Speakers, music, and serious protesting will happen. Please be with us Friday at noon.
