On Tues., 4/15, meet at 11AM on Eagle St, by the elementary school next to the Governor's mansion for a protest opposing the bomb trains. 1) The national Weather service forecast for Tuesday is:
“Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. High near 63. Windy, with a south wind 20 to 29 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.” A day and a half out, NWS forecasts are MUCH better than random.
I STRONGLY recommend we relocate the event indoors, ie the door of Cuomo’s office in the Capitol. We can also do an outdoors part of the action in front of the Washington Ave or State St side of the Capitol, under the overhang, for paraphernalia that won’t bel allowed through security.
